Windows 11

Windows 11 is the latest major release of the Windows NT operating system developed by Microsoft that was announced on June 24, 2021, and is the successor to Windows 10, which was released in 2015. Windows 11 was released to the public on October 5, 2021, as a free upgrade via Windows Update and Windows 11 Installation Assistant on eligible devices running Windows 10.

Windows 11 OS Features

After the launch of windows 10, everyone wants new features from Microsoft’s next operating system. People have high expectations from Windows 11 OS, so here we’ve got a few features of Windows 11.

1. New/Exquisite Start Button:

The disappearance of the start button in Windows 8 was a great controversy that had made the noise. But there is an assumption that Microsoft put the start button in the desktop versions of Windows 11 and this time the button is more refined and better than before.

2. Radical Reworking of the User Interface:

If you think that Windows 11 is a soft deployment of Windows 8, then you are not wrong. Microsoft will not try to change this update and you’ll not find anything aggressive in Windows 11.

3. Deeper Integration with Azure for Cloud Storage:

It is assumed that Microsoft will use Azure for cloud storage in Windows 11, for this Microsoft can integrate parts of the OS into cloud documents or file storage.

4. Advanced Power Management:

Microsoft had already launched Window 8 and Window 8.1 with power management which was a great feature given by Microsoft. But now people are expecting more advanced power management in newer versions of Windows to make the OS more efficient.

5. Improved Gesture Integration:

It will be so helpful for the people if Microsoft tries to add any gesture recognition to Windows 11. We can expect that Microsoft will go beyond the initial steps taken in Windows 8.1 and if they can succeed in using computer gestures then it will be great.

6. Improved Security:

Microsoft did an excellent job by giving security features in earlier windows. Now it can be expected that Microsoft will enhance security features in Windows 11 including fingerprint recognition.

As machines become increasingly capable, tasks considered to require “intelligence” are often removed from the definition of AI, a phenomenon known as the AI effect. For instance, optical character recognition is frequently excluded from things considered to be AI, having become a routine technology.
